Stress and the Holidays

Do you feel this way during the holidays? Like you want to cry?  Stressed and overwrought? Like Coco the cat*, we all have to do things that we don’t want to do, especially over the holidays.  That can lead to more stress and make happy times less so. It's hard to avoid stress but there are some things you can do to decrease it.

1. Exercise
2. Sleep 
3. Eat fruits and vegetables every day
4. Get adjusted

What?  Hard to believe that getting adjusted will help?  Getting chiropractic adjustments can make you more relaxed and at ease because adjustments help rebalance your nervous system. When your nervous system is balanced, you achieve a sense of calm that is deep and full.  It’s like your whole body and mind become peaceful and connected with each other.  Worries tend to melt away and problems don’t seem that big anymore.  All in a few minutes. It’s quite amazing actually.

Chiropractic can be a part of your holidays to help you get through the rush and actually enjoy the process! Now that would be really be a Christmas miracle!!

*BTW, this is my cat Coco.  She was not happy to play a reindeer but she was eager to eat the treats I offered her (which is what she was doing when this picture was taken—no part of her was harmed to take this photo, except for her pride).
